Husband, son, and I have taken to family weekends traversing our city, discovering local dining or java to our fancy, and new neighborhoods to walk as the weather permits. The time spent cooing at my baby's face as we stroll a park, nurse in a lot, leisurely brunch or shop, while he is either in stroller or sling, are beyond satisfying. Akin only to the refreshing hours of "talks" a caffeinated wife can jabber to her husband, about dreams and life and "feels," which are equally gratifying.
My weekdays consist of simple living in my mind, body, and home. Of course, like the earth revolving around the sun, so a nursing mother orbits her infant. However, I am also full of goals these days, the scent of motivation beginning to waft through my to-do lists and plans. Whether it is the physical and mental healing post-childbirth, or a rejuvenation of interests after a dry spell; I always get excited to revisit my personal 4th dimension: extra industrious, with many miscellaneous projects of both normal living and my alternate realities.
And so it goes.
